It was just over a year ago I witnessed Megan and Melissa’s micro-wedding in Connecticut. These two are silly, lovable, and undeniably committed to one another. When M&M realized covid wasn't going away anytime soon, they decided the big venue wedding wasn’t as important as getting married. Melissa’s father hosted the event, a work friend catered the cupcakes(Thank you Carol), and Flash and Brady took on the roll of ring bearers.

The scene was warm and inviting, and the excitement palpable - being shared among their closest of friends and family. Melissa and Megan smiled bright as they shared their vows in front of the Christmas tree. Later, M&M would cut into their pecan cheese ball in lieu of the traditional cake. After the intimate ceremony, the brides and their guests shared fire-oven pizza and craft beer over at Kinsmen Brewery in Milldale, CT. Megan and Melissa truly created a beautiful memory out of an otherwise dark time.
